A week of camp at Alpine is a true outdoor adventure experience—with activities like white water rafting, rappelling, hiking and wild caving. It's the ideal getaway for the active teen, junior camper, or family who wants to ditch the hustle of the city and escape to the hills of West Virginia.
Harvest Media had the pleasure of working with the leadership at Alpine Bible Camp to refresh their visual brand including a logo redesign, new camp view book, and refreshed summer camp brochures.
The book gives an overview of all their camp programs and activities. The design features a mix of candid photography, illustration, and scruffy odds and ends to capture the fun. The photos are arranged in a non-standard gird layout to give the piece a sense of adventure, energy, variety, and surprise.
We wanted the tactile feel of this piece to connect with the camp experience. The cover is a textured stipple paper that is custom die cut and embossed with their logo. The interior pages have a natural speckle that subtly reinforces the outdoor theme.
One of the criteria of the logo redesign was to keep the 3 tree element. We introduced a font that felt hand drawn to communicate the active, fun experiences of the adventure camp.
We've also created and executed several direct mail campaigns, including summer camp brochures and sports camp postcards.
